You marked the moments on set with the Earwig app on your phone. Earwig Sync lives on your computer and puts those markers on your timeline. This sheet takes you from download to markers in the edit.
Open Earwig Sync and sign in with the same email you use in the Earwig app on your phone. It sends you a six-digit code. Type it in and your shoots appear.
The free version of Resolve does not run plugins. Use the files from your email instead. In Resolve go to Timelines, then Import, then Timeline Markers from EDL, and choose the EDL file from your Earwig email.
In Premiere, go to Window, then Extensions, then Earwig. Sign in the same way, open your shoot, match your clips, and press Build. Or import the XML file from your Earwig email.
0 clips matched. Point Sync at the folder with the original camera files, not a copy with new names. MXF cards need ffmpeg installed. MOV and MP4 do not.
Sync cannot find my shoots. You signed in with a different address. Use the one shown in the Earwig app under Settings.
The email with my markers did not arrive. Open the shoot in the Earwig app and press Send me my markers.
Talk to Support in the Earwig app menu, or go to earwig.io/sync. A reply comes from Harry, who built Earwig.
